(The Rileys All Star challenge II)
(Posted: 11 November 2009)
The Rileys All Star Challenge is back! After the success of the first challenge Rileys is launching a new search for the UK's fastest pool speedster.
It's all about who can clear a pool table in the fastest time. That’s all the spots and the stripes against the clock and watched by a Rileys referee.
The Rileys All Star Challenge will run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Rileys clubs from 4 til 9pm and it's free to try. The challenge starts on the 13th of November and in the first week, prizes will be available for beating ex-England Cricketer, Darren Gough clearance time of 2mins 26sec. Beat Rileys new Ambassador Ronnie O'Sullivan's time of 1min 6 sec and a special, limited edition prize is yours.
The ultimate winner will be the person who has shot the fastest clearance and is at the top of the National All Star Challenge leader board. The overall winner will receive ‘The Life Of Rileys’ … an all expenses paid trip for two to the F1 European Grand Prix!
The first challenge was won by John Burt, a member from Watford in an un-official world record time of 29.09 seconds. John won a trip to Las Vegas to watch a top pool tournament.
