An amazing £10,000 cash was won at the Rileys Ace of Spades Poker Series Grand Final on Sunday 29th April.
A total of 114 finalist competed for the impressive prize pot during this all day event, held at Grosvenor G Casino, Coventry Ricoh Arena, which saw the top 20 players receive a payout.
Jon Duggins, who qualified from Chester Rileys, came out on top and won the top prize of £3700. Our runner up, Tom McLean, who qualified from Coventry Hert, scooped up a respectable £2250. Both John and Tom also received personalised trophies. A special mention goes to Brian Buckley Snr, from Wigan, who finished on the final table for a 2nd successive year!
30 clubs throughout the country hosted weekly events lasting 10 weeks, with an average of 15 players per club taking part each week. The top 2 from each club qualified to the Grand Final, along with another two from each club play off.

The latest Ace of Spades Poker Series kicked off 23rd April and will last 16 weeks, again with a £10,000 prize pot to be won. It's not too late to apply, contact your local club for more information.
