New English Pool & American Pool leagues at Rileys

We are delighted to announce a new exciting network of singles English Pool & American Pool leagues, which we are launching across our estate of clubs.

When do they start?

The 1st season starts w/c 14th May 2012 and finishes w/c 3rd September 2012. 

The leagues are to run over 16 weeks (15 weeks + 1 finals week/ presentation night) with a 1 week break for Spring Bank/ Diamond Jubilee b/h week (w/c 4th June)

What is the format?

16 players play each other twice over 15 weeks with players playing 2 matches per night.  The league night starts at 8pm.

In the 16th week the league is cut in half to create 2 x 8 man straight KO Play Off Final events to decide final league prizes.

All league matches are best of 4 legs so you can win, lose or draw. 

KO Play Off Final matches are best of 5 legs then 7 legs for semis and final.

Why should you enter?

Carling, Gaymers & Worthys is £2 on league night for all Rileys Pool League players

In the first season, County and interleague players are not permitted to enter the base league thus making the leagues real amateur leagues for casual and average standard players.  Subject to local demand we may run separate leagues for County and interleague players.

There will be no away fixtures as every match is played in your local Rileys club!

The league nights are low cost great social nights, ideal for players who have never played in a league before.

All leagues will be administrated through the Rileys website so you can keep a track on how you are doing whenever you want

From the 2nd season, the top finishing league players will qualify for Regional Finals with a chance to win big money!

What is the cost and what can you win?

The cost to play is just £2 subs per week over 15 weeks (£30 total) or £25 if you pay in advance.  In week 16, the top 8 will then play off for £300 and the bottom 8 will play off for £100 + £20 Rileys vouchers.
