Rileys hit a Darts double

Rileys, the UK’s top pool and snookeoperator, today (Friday July 10) continues its march into the world of darts with a ‘double tops’ package:

BULLSEYE! Rileys have agreed a one-yeadeal with the British Darts Organisation (BDO) to sponsothe British Inter-County Darts Championships (BICC)

BULLSEYE! Rileys are opening top quality darts zones at anothenine clubs nationwide

The sponsorship package with the BDO starts in Octobeat the beginning of the 2009/2010 BICC season.

It represents a majostep forward in ouplans to work closely with top companies, and there is a perfect fit between Rileys established activities in pool and snookeand BDO darts.

Rileys Chief Executive OfficeMaurice Kelly said: "We are thrilled to be sponsoring the British Inter-County Championships, and are very much looking forward to building a strong relationship with the BDO.

This sponsorship will coincide with the arrival of nine new darts zones at ouclubs, including those in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Hull and Wolverhampton.

We are serious about darts and will continue to open dart zones in Rileys clubs across the United Kingdom.

With pubs closing almost every day, we hope that local players and teams will come and use ououtstanding facilities."

Darts legend Phil ‘The Power’ Tayloopened Rileys’ first-evedarts zone in theiclub at Croydon, South London, in April this year.

Rileys’ darts zones feature state-of-the-art facilities, including championship standard dart boards and electronic scoring in the playing areas.
